Clinical Supervision

Professional Smiling Woman

Offered as one-on-one in person or video, currently the most popular type of clinical supervision. In this, you as the supervisee meets individually, usually once per week but perhaps pro-rated to every other week or once per month if you are working less than full-time.

What is Clinical Supervision?
“Supervision" means a formalized professional relationship between a supervisor and supervisee in which the supervisor directs, monitors, and evaluates the supervisee's social work practice while promoting development of the supervisee's knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide social work services in an ethical and competent manner.

"Supervision training" means a course or program designed to provide information regarding the supervision process utilized by social workers in a variety of settings as set forth in Regulation .04B(1)”

Don’t want one on one supervision? No problem. I also offer supervision in a group format.

Group supervision is great for those who want to learn from their peers. Benefits of group supervision include the following:

•    Enhance your clinical skills.
•    Engage in topics of interest.
•    Explore various case studies.
•    Learn from a variety of viewpoints.

There will be additional fees for professional services rendered that are not part of the standard therapy session, such as preparation time of special forms, reports, letters, and court time.

Payments are accepted with the following platforms:

We currently accept Maryland Medicaid (MCO's i.e. United Medicaid, Amerigroup, Priority Partners and Maryland Physician Care) and Medicare.

NEW YORK RESIDENTS: Cash only this time.. Fee sliding scale available.

We recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?

  • Does my plan accept out-of-network mental health providers?

  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

We accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment.
